Young Man, If You are Moved to Make Disciples, Just Do It
In my blog last Wednesday, I wrote why I want young men to make disciples before they court. I have listed 5 traits that they would want to develop.
So young man, maybe you were moved to make disciples. But don’t just stand there; do something!
If you’re clueless of the next step, here’s my advice:
1. Share the Gospel. Volunteer yourself as a gospel-sharer on Sunday service. Or join an evangelistic event. Or share to a random person. I tell you. In my experience, sharing the gospel is way more challenging than preaching to a group of believers. It really makes me depend on the Holy Spirit, especially when I get nervous (as in really nervous) sharing to a stranger. It always is an exhilarating experience for me.
2. Start a Small Group. The Great Commission commands us to teach disciples to observe everything Christ has commanded (Matthew 28:20). And in my experience, the small group is a great avenue (I’ll be blogging on this topic soon). I handle my own small group, consisting of young men/college students. Every week, we meet together and I teach them the Word. We learn from the Bible, and we apply it to our lives.
