Epicenter by Joel C. Rosenberg

It’s good to get acquainted with the current events and see how biblical prophecies are being fulfilled (or at least see how it matches biblical prophecies). Joel C. Rosenberg’s Epicenter does that.

Rosenberg writes on the developments in the Middle East, focusing on Israel, the “epicenter” of the world, and the Russia-Iran military alliance. What I like about this book is that it does not only interprets events through political and economic lenses, but also through what Rosenberg calls as the “third lens”, or the lens of Scripture. In line to this, Rosenberg usually refers to the intelligence given by the Hebrew prophet Ezekiel 2500 years ago, which is found in Ezekiel 38-39, and to many other Bible passages.

An awareness of current events, especially in the Middle East, and of the fulfillment of the prophecies in the Bible should make us realize the little time left in our hands. We should live as if the end is coming.
